Follow up: The Volt absolutely qualifies for an AFV (Alternative Fuel Vehicle) tag in Georgia, which means you can drive solo in the HOV lanes. But it's not easy, since most dealers haven't figured it out yet.

First, try to convince your dealer to read and follow the instructions here:

http://www.atlantavolts.com/?q=afv-tag-howto#comment-44

If you followed all the instructions above and still have the "B" fuel code in your record, send a detailed email to motorvehicleinquiry@DOR.GA.GOV. They changed mine to "O" within half an hour. (This was after literally hours on the phone with the dealer (clueless), Dekalb County (where the dealer is located), and Fulton County (where I live).

The difference between the categories you defined is nnot usually as clearly demarked as you indicate. Drug safety may vary between individuals depending on their genetic makeup, past history of illneses, and ohter factors. The difference between safety and toxicity may be very small and subject to factors thatonly trained individuals can identify or predict.

Gary: Thanks for the pointer to StarMapPro. As for Notes Plus: well, that was one of the nearly-twenty apps I tried before settling (for now) on Noteshelf. Very ambitious (and, yes, I bought the in-app handwriting recognition). De mortuis nil nisi bonum.

Nice list Stephen. I concur with most of these --- two that you may want to give a try if you have not yet: StarMapPro (for stargazing) and NotesPlus (iPAD only). I moved over to StarmapPro and love it - especially when camping far away from city lights. And notesPlus DOES have a decent handwriting recognition plus in that can be purchased.

Thanks for sharing this list.
