Georgia Tech Rambling Wreck parade: Sigma Nu’s waterwheel machine.
They had finally given up by the time they got to my end of the parade route. That white PVC pipe pumps water into the buckets, which turns the drivetrain. It worked downhill… I think I’ll hang out at that end of the route next year!
I got some distant video of the waterwheel working, but unless you know what you’re looking at, you can’t really see it. A noble effort by ??, even if they had to wind up pushing it to the finish line!
